Dr Nadia Mandura has spent 35 years in clinical practice across the Saudi healthcare system, including as Head of Home Medical Care at King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah. She has therefore watched the arrival of a great deal of new medical technology, and the quieter business of what happened to it afterwards.

Her role at A7i is to check that the clinical claims hold and that the adoption story is real. A therapy that reaches a patient and a therapy that reaches a formulary are different achievements, and the difference is usually clearest from inside the hospital.
